The stuff that castings are made of

The convincing properties of our iron casting materials include wear resistance, versatility, profitability, and recyclability. Because of these properties, cast iron is a valuable constituent element of numerous products.

Our production portfolio includes single-piece castings as well as engineered and small batch parts made of grey and nodular-graphite iron conforming to EN 1561 and EN 1563. Our comprehensive pool of moulding boxes ranging to 7500 mm x 3600 mm in size enables us to produce castings in a wide variety of dimensions weighing up to 25 tons apiece.

Liquid iron is melted in a cold-blast cupola furnace featuring oxygen injection. After melting, nodular-graphite iron is inoculated with magnesium by the wire reel process.
